5th Down Syndrome Open European Championships – Italy September 2019

5th Open European DSISO Swimming Championships Sardinia, Italy from 15 – 22 September 2019
Congratulations to Mark Evens and Camino Martinez who were the top T21 scoring individuals; Ellen Stephenson and Muhammed Sahin top Mosaic scoring individuals. Additional awards were presented to Billy Birchmore and Maria Bresciani for their excellent performances. DSISO extend congratulations to all swimmers who competed and look forward to seeing everyone in Turkey in 2020.
Teams were accommodated in Geo Village. The venue was ideal as the swimming pool was within easy walking distance of the hotel. 18 countries participated (17 European & USA). 124 swimmers competed. 52 females (8 juniors; 4 Mosaics & 1 guest Mosaic) 72 males (4 juniors; 1 Mosaic).
